1. Information you give us when you apply

• Account: name, email address (confirmed with a 6-digit code), phone number and password
• Profile: profile photo, driver's licence number and, if you add one, your company
• Vehicle: make, model, year, colour, licence plate, vehicle type, number of seats and a vehicle photo
• Preferences: whether you want VIP rides
• Bank details you add for payouts: bank, account holder, account number, branch, account type and SWIFT code

When you request an email code we also record the IP address of the request, to limit abuse.

2. Information collected while you use the app

• Precise location while you are online, including when the app is in the background (on Android through a foreground service with an ongoing notification; on iOS through background location updates). We use it to offer you nearby rides and to show riders your approach and trip.
• Online status and last check-in time, used to decide which drivers can receive offers
• Device details: push notification tokens (Apple Push Notification service, OneSignal), platform, app version, device model and operating system version
• Ride activity: rides you are offered, accept, decline or miss, completed rides, earnings, payouts, ratings from riders and messages you exchange with riders

3. Who we share it with

• Riders you are matched with see your name, photo, phone number, vehicle make, model, colour and plate, your rating, and your live location during their ride.
• Driver Directory: our public Driver Directory is a business listing of active drivers' names, phone numbers and companies, so customers can book with them directly.
• Service providers that run parts of the platform for us: Supabase (database, login and file hosting), Google Maps (maps and routes), Apple and OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email) and Stripe (rider payments).
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention and deleting your account

You can delete your driver account in the app (Account → Privacy & account → Delete account) or at ridenow247.com/delete-account. Finish any ride or open offer first.

Deleted:

• Your login
• Email, phone number and profile photo
• Vehicle photos
• Bank details
• Devices registered for notifications

Kept for accounting and legal requirements: your name, licence number, vehicle details, and past rides, earnings and payouts. If the same login was also used to book rides as a rider, the login is kept for those rides.

If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email on your account.

5. Your choices

• Go offline in the app to stop location sharing.
• Edit your profile, vehicle and bank details in the app, or ask us to correct them.
• Turn off notifications or location access in your phone's settings. You won't receive ride offers without them.

We will update this page when what we collect or share changes, and change the date above.
